light-years-2019-new-on-dvd-and-bluray

Product Description: If a lonesome Dude in his middle thirties eats some mushrooms somewhere in the Vermont woods does anyone care? That’s where this story starts: a man on an annual cosmo-psychedelic mission to see a dead friend. A macro time-traveling dose in an effort to reconnect with the past, with that buddy, with whoever he himself is, was, maybe might be. But mostly to shake up the snow-globe. But this year there’s a snag, a glitch and upon arrival in the summer of ‘98, every face he sees is his. The neighborhood bully, the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker and his divorcing parents to boot. “Look what you’ve done” he sings at himself, cursing his face reflected in all the characters from his past But a face remains, un-his: Briggs, his dead buddy. So they belly up and have at it, charge the rural teenage 90’s night like it’s Normandy. They laugh, cringe, cry and most of all love. Because it’s out there. And once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places.
