"Clevatess" is a new anime series based on Yuji Iwahara's dark fantasy manga of the same name. The original manga began publishing on the LINE Manga vertical web platform in August 2020, with seven volumes released in Japan to date. Media Factory also releases the series horizontally, compiling its version into six volumes.
The series is directed by Kiyotaka Taguchi ("Ultraman Blazar") at Lay-duce with Keigo Koyanagi ("Brave Bang Bravern!") writing the series composition, Soichiro Sako ("Buddy Daddies") handling character designs and Nobuaki Nobusawa ("Mr. Villain's Day Off") composing the music.
The ending theme is "Destiny" by Ellie Goulding, while the opening song is "Ruler", performed by Mayu Maeshima. The voice cast includes Mamoru Miyano, Yuichi Nakamura, Yuma Uchida, Kenta Miyake and Haruka Shiraishi.
"Clevatess" premiered in Japan on July 2, 2025 and is streaming via Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
