"Escape at Dannemora" is a miniseries created by Brett Johnson ("Ray Donovan") and Michael Tolkin ("Deep Impact") based on the true story of a 2015 prison break in upstate New York, which spawned a massive manhunt for two convicted murderers who were aided in their escape by a married female prison employee with whom they both became sexually entangled.
The eight-hour limited series is produced and directed by Ben Stiller, and it stars Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette, Paul Dano, Bonnie Hunt, Michael Imperioli and David Morse.
"Escape at Dannemora" premiered on Showtime on November 18, 2018 and it received mostly positive reviews from critics.
