Dreams 2025 Movie Trailer Clip Images Posters

"Dreams" is a drama written and directed by Michel Franco ("Memory", "New Order"). The film stars Jessica Chastain as a powerful American socialite who enters a dangerous affair with an undocumented Mexican ballet dancer (Isaac Hernández). The cast also includes Rupert Friend, Marshall Bell, Eligio Meléndez and Mercedes Hernández. "Dreams" premiered at the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival where it was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear (Best Film). It was released in select theaters in the US on February 27, 2026, and via streaming on April 10, 2026.

Dheepan Cannes 2015 Winner

The 2015 Cannes Film Festival has come to a close and the winners of the prestigious awards have been revealed. The honor of the Palme d'Or was bestowed upon Jacques Audiard's "Dheepan", a crime drama that tells the story of a Sri Lankan Tamil freedom fighter who flees to France and ends up working as the caretaker of a run-down housing block in the suburbs. This year's jury was headed by Joel and Ethan Coen and featured Guillermo del Toro, Jake Gyllenhaal, Xavier Dolan, Sophie Marceau, Rossy de Palma, Rokia Traoré, and Sienna Miller.

Grand Prix: Son of Saul, directed by Laszlo Nemes

Best Director: Hou Hsiao-Hsien for The Assassin

Best Actor: Vincent Lindon for The Measure of a Man

Best Screenplay: Chronic, written by Michel Franco

Camera d'Or (Best First Feature): La Tierra y la Sombre, directed by Cesar Acevedo

Best Actress: Rooney Mara for Carol and Emmanuelle Bercot for Mon Roi (Shared Prize)

Palme d'Or (Short Film): Waves ’98, directed by Ely Dagher

Jury Prize: The Lobster, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos
