The third season of the "Lethal Weapon" reboot series premieres tonight at 9p on Fox. The most notable thing about the new season is that the franchise's popular character Martin Riggs (played by Mel Gibson in the movies) has been removed from the series due to the firing of Clayne Crawford. But since a buddy cop formula needs two to tango, Murtaugh (Damon Wayans Sr.) will get a new partner, Wesley Cole, who will be played by Seann William Scott ("The Rundown", "Goon"). The series also stars Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Michelle Mitchenor, Johnathan Fernandez and Jordana Brewster.
