Today we have some new trailers for upcoming TV shows. You can view the trailers and read the synopses after the jump, but first, here's a short description of each series.
- "Minority Report" - Based on Steven Spielberg's sci-fi film of the same name, the Fox series follows the unlikely partnership between a man haunted by the future and a cop haunted by her past, as they race to stop the worst crimes of the year 2065 before they happen. Directed by Mark Mylod ("Shameless") and written by Max Borenstein ("Godzilla"), the series stars Meagan Good, Wilmer Valderrama, Laura Regan, Stark Sands and Li Jun Li. No premiere date available.
- "Lucifer" - Based on the character created by Neil Gaiman, this show is a supernatural crime drama in which the Devil abandones his throne and retires to L.A., where he owns Lux, an upscale nightclub. The whole thing becomes a procedural when Lucifer decides to help the L.A.P.D. solve murders with his unique ability to draw out people's secrets. The Fox series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, directed by Len Wiseman ("Underworld"), and it stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Matt Corboy. No premiere date available.
- "Blindspot" - This new NBC series stars Jaimie Alexander ("Thor") as a beautiful Jane Doe who is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. One of the tattoos spells the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller and once Agent Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and rest of the FBI get involved they quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed. The series is directed by Mark Pellington ("The Mothman Prophecies") and it also stars Ashley Johnson, Rob Brown, Ukweli Roach and Bree Williamson. "Blindspot" will premiere sometime this fall.
- "The Player" - A new action series from executive producers of "The Blacklist" which stars Wesley Snipes as the leader of an organization of wealthy individuals who gamble on the probability of a crime being stopped. Philip Winchester ("Strike Back") stars as a former intelligence officer now working as a security expert in Las Vegas, who becomes a player in this high-stakes game. No premiere data available.
