The eighth season of the sitcom "Last Man Standing" has premiered on January 2, 2020 on Fox. Created by Jack Burditt, the show originally ran between 2011 and 2017 on ABC. It was cancelled and one year later picked up by Fox for a seventh season.
The series follows Mike Baxter (Tim Allen), a senior executive and director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods store chain based in Denver, Colorado, who finds himself the odd man out as he tries to maintain his manliness in a home dominated by women. The cast also includes Nancy Travis, Kaitlyn Dever, Molly Ephraim, Amanda Fuller and Hector Elizondo.
