Anne Hathaway To Star In Godzilla Meets Being John Malkovich Monster Movie Colossal
Anne Hathaway ("Les Miserables") has signed on to star in the sci-fi film "Colossal". Written and directed by Nacho Vigalondo ("The ABCs of Death"), the film tells the story of Gloria (Hathaway), a woman who, after losing her job and fiancé, discovers that she shares an unusual mental link with events occuring in Tokyo, where a giant lizard is destroying the city. Honestly, when is Tokyo not being destroyed by some gigantic creature ? Gloria is forced to discover how her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.

The film is being described as "Godzilla" meets "Being John Malkovich". I wonder how that will work out. Here's what Vigalondo had to say about the movie:
"Colossal is my most ambitious script so far, and probably also the most personal one. Having Anne and this terrific team around goes beyond my craziest expectations."

"The Host 2" ("Gwoemul 2") is the sequel to the 2006 Korean monster movie "The Host", co-written and directed by Joon-ho Bong. The featurette you see above shows off the impressive CGI of the sequel and teases some monster action. No plot details are given. "The Host 2" is written by Park Myeong-Chan and written by Hao Ning.
