NE ZHA 2 (2025) - Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

The Chinese animated fantasy film "Ne Zha 2" is a sequel to the 2019 film "Ne Zha", and it's based on the titular Chinese mythological character and Xu Zhonglin's 16th-century novel "Investiture of the Gods" ("Fengshen Yanyi").

The film is directed by Yu Yang from a script by Xixing Lu, Zhonglin Xu and Yu Yang, and it features the voices of Yanting Lu, Joseph, Mo Han, Aidyn Ahn, Eric Bauza, Hao Chen and Aleks Le. It opened in China on January 29, 2025 and has grossed more than $2 billion worldwide. It was released in US theaters on August 22, 2025.

Weekend Box Office: CAPTAIN AMERICA - BRAVE NEW WORLD Nose-Dives As THE MONKEY Pulls Off Best Horror Debut of 2025

"Captain America: Brave New World" is still the #1 movie at the box office, but the bad news is that it suffered a massive drop in its sophomore frame. Meanwhile, the Stephen King adaptation "The Monkey" scored a decent debut, but the drama "The Unbreakable Boy" tanked.

"Ne Zha 2" is a Chinese animated fantasy adventure film written and directed by Jiaozi, and it's a sequel to the 2019 film "Ne Zha". The voice cast includes Joseph, Mo Han, Hao Chen, Gong Geer, Yuze Han and Qi Lu. The film opened in theaters in China on January 29, 2025 and has since grossed $1.69 billion, becoming not only the highest-grossing Chinese film in history, but also the highest-grossing animated film ever. "Ne Zha 2" was released in select theaters in the US on February 14, 2025.

Weekend Box Office: CAPTAIN AMERICA - BRAVE NEW WORLD Dominates President's Day Frame

Marvel's new film "Captain America: Brave New World" had no problem topping the charts in an otherwise modest President's Day weekend, although it wasn't exactly the huge opening Marvel was used to having, either. The threequel "Paddington in Peru" also opened in theaters over the weekend, but its numbers were disappointing.
