"New Saga" ("Tsuyokute Nyû Sâga") is a new anime series based on the light novels written by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryuta Fuse, which are published by AlphaPolis in Japan, while Alpha Manga also publishes an English language version with artwork by Jun Miura.
The series is directed by Naoki Mizusawa at animation studios Sotsu and Studio Clutch with animation production assistance by STUDIO MASSKET. Naoki Horiuchi co-directs, while Kenta Ihara handles composition and the music is composed by Shacho (of SOUL&”PIMP”SESSIONS) and Hironori "Guts" Anzawa
The opening song is "Enja" performed by 4s4ki, while the ending theme is "her" performed by Mahiru Coda. The voice cast includes Yuma Uchida, Takehito Koyasu, Ai Fairouz, Asami Seto, Hiro Shimono, Yoko Hikasa, Tetsu Inada, Minami Takahashi and Hiroki Yasumoto.
"New Saga" started broadcasting in Japan on July 2, and is also streaming via Crunchyroll.
