The seacond season of the anime series "Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!" has premiered on July 5, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll. The show is based on the Japanese four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Hori, which in turn is based on the Chinese side-scrolling shoot 'em up video game "Azur Lane" by Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi. Ichijinsha publishes the original manga in their Monthly ComicREX manga magazine.
Shunji Maki directs the new season at studio CANDY BOX, with scripts by Yu Sato and Hotaru Asafuji, character designs and chief animation direction by Nana Mori and music by Fuga Hotori.
The new season features two new theme sons: "Shaisuma—!" performed by Yui Sakakibara, and "Lu lu lun♪ ~Urahara Kibun wa Automatic" performed by Miyuki Hashimoto. The voice cast includes Nozomi Yamane, Yo Taichi, Maria Naganawa, Rika Abe, Sumire Uesaka, Minami Takahashi and Ayane Sakura.
