OFFICIAL SECRETS (2019) - Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

"Official Secrets" is a fact-based political thriller directed by Gavin Hood ("Tsotsi", "Eye in the Sky") from a script he co-wrote alongside Gregory Bernstein ("The Conspirator") and Sara Bernstein ("Trial and Error"), based on the non-fiction book "The Spy Who Tried to Stop a War" by Marcia & Thomas Mitchell.

The film stars Keira Knightley as GCHQ employee Katharine Gun, who leaked a secret memo exposing an illegal spying operation by the United States of America, looking for information with which to blackmail United Nations diplomats tasked to vote on a resolution regarding the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Matt Smith, Matthew Goode, Rhys Ifans, Indira Varma and Ralph Fiennes co-star.

"Official Secrets" premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was released in theaters in the U.S. on August 30, 2019. The film will be released in the U.K. on October 18th.

Today we have new trailers for:

• The upcoming "Charlie's Angels" reboot starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, newcomer Ella Balinska, Patrick Stewart and Elizabeth Banks. Banks also directed, co-wrote and produced the action comedy.
• The historical war epic "Midway" from blockbuster helmer Roland Emmerich ("Independence Day"). The film's ensemble cast features Woody Harrelson, Dennis Quaid, Patrick Wilson, Ed Skrein, Mandy Moore, Luke Evans, Aaron Eckhart, Jake Weber and Nick Jonas.
• The British fact-based drama "Official Secrets" starring Keira Knightley, Matt Smith, Matthew Goode, Ralph Fiennes and Rhys Ifans. The film is directed by South African filmmaker Gavin Hood ("Tsotsi").
• The HBO feature film "Share" starring up-and-coming British actress Rhianne Barreto (Amazon's "Hanna"). The film marks the feature debut of writer/director Pippa Bianco, and it's based on her award-winning short of the same name.

• The horror film "Doctor Sleep" based on Stephen King"s 2013 novel of the same name, which is a sequel to his 1977 classic "The Shining". The film stars Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson, Bruce Greenwood and Cliff Curtis.
• The true story British thriller "Official Secrets" starring Keira Knightley, Matt Smith, Matthew Goode, Ralph Fiennes and Rhys Ifans. The film is directed by South African filmmaker Gavin Hood ("Ender's Game", "Eye in the Sky").
• Epix's upcoming DC origin series "Pennyworth" from the producers of "Gotham". The show is set in the 1960s and it follows the story of Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a British soldier and SAS agent who will later become Bruce Wayne's butler.
• The fact-based heist drama "Vault" starring Chazz Palminteri, Don Johnson, William Forsythe and Sean Ringgold.
• The British action thriller series "Curfew", which is set in the near-future, and it stars Sean Bean, Adam Brody, Billy Zane, Michael Biehn, Rose Williams and Miranda Richardson. The eight-episode series hails from "Peaky Blinders" writer-producer Matthew Read.
• The documentary "The Amazing Johnathan Documentary" from comedy director and first-time doc filmmaker Ben Berman.
