The tenth season of the dramedy series "Shameless" has premiered on November 10, 2019 on Showtime. Developed by John Wells based on Paul Abbott's British series of the same name, the show is currently Showtime's longest-running original scripted series.
Emmy winner William H. Macy stars as Frank Gallagher, the working class patriarch of an unconventional Chicago brood of six kids, who keep the home afloat while their dad is out drinking and carousing. The new season picks up six months after last season's finale, as Frank's latest scheme involves prescription drugs, Debbie (Emma Kenney) takes over as head of the Gallagher house, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) and Tami (Kate Miner) are still together, Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) finishes military school, Liam (Christian Isaiah) wants to learn more about black history with the help of V, while Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey (Noel Fisher) are reunited in jail. The cast also includes Shanola Hampton and Steve Howey.
