"Radioactive Emergency" ("Emergencia Radioative") is a Brazilian historical drama miniseries created by Gustavo Lipsztein that dramatizes the 1987 Goiânia accident, where scavengers uncovered a radioactive Cesium-137 source, leading to widespread contamination and fatalities. The 5-episode thriller centers on the medical and scientific efforts to manage the crisis. The cast includes Johnny Massaro, Tuca Andrada, Sergio Barreto, Paulo Gorgulho, Douglas Simon and Emerson Souza. The limited series premiered on March 18, 2026 on Netflix.
