"Utopia Falls" is a CBC Gem original series created and directed by R.T. Thorne ("Blindspot", "Find Me in Paris") and executive produced by Andrea Gorfolova and Ashley Rite. Joseph Mallozzi ("Dark Matter", "Stargate") serves as showrunner.
The sci-fi musical drama is set in the near future in the utopian colony New Babyl, where a group of teenagers are chosen to compete in the distinguished performing arts competition. The discovery of a secret archive of cultural artifacts puts everything they were told in question. The cast features Robyn Alomar, Akiel Julien, Robbie Graham-Kuntz, Phillip Lewitski, Humberly Gonzalez, Debyn Nekoda and Mickeey Nguyen. Snoop Dogg voices the Archive.
"Utopia Falls" has premiered on February 14, 2020 on Hulu.
