"Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight" is a South African drama written and directed by actress Embeth Davidtz ("Schindler's List", "Old") in her feature directorial debut based on Alexandra Fuller's 2011 memoir about the experiences of her White Zimbabwean family following the Rhodesian Bush War. Davidtz also stars alongside Lexi Venter, Zikohona Bali, Fumani Shilubana, Rob Van Vuuren, Anina Reed and Ilana Cilliers.
The film premiered at the 2024 Telluride Film Festival. It opened in select theaters on July 11, 2025, and was released on streaming platforms on September 16, 2025.
