"City of God: The Fight Rages On" ("Cidade de Deus: A Luta Não Para") is a drama series that serves as a sequel to the 2002 film "City of God" ("Cidade de Deus"), which in turn was based on the novel by Paulo Lins. The show is set two decades after the events of the film, and it stars Alexandre Rodrigues, Thiago Martins, Roberta Rodrigues, Sabrina Rosa, Edson Oliveirra, Wayne LeGette and Marcos Palmeira. The series premiered on August 25, 2024 on HBO/Max.
