The western thriller "Slow West" begins a limited release in theaters today, so here are three new clips and a behind-the-scenes featurette. Kodi Smit-McPhee stars as a 16-year-old boy traveling across the American frontier in search of the woman he loves. He is joined by Silas (Michael Fassbender), a mysterious traveler who is on the run from a gang of outlaws.
The film has been getting some impressive reviews which have taken notice of John Maclean's directorial debut. Maclean also won the Grand Jury Prize (World Cinema - Dramatic) at the Sundance Film Festival for his work on this movie. To get a better feel of what the movie is like, here's what one critic called it: "A sort of unofficial love child of Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino." The cast also features Caren Pistorious, Ben Mendelsohn, and Rory McCann.
Watch the clips and featurette after the jump.
