The second season of the comedy series "SMILF" has premiered on January 20, 2019 on Showtime. The show was created by Frankie Shaw based on her own short film of the same name, which won the Short Film Jury Prize at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Shaw also stars as Bridgette, a single, 20-something mom wo struggles to find a happy work-life balance.
The new season finds Bridgette dealing with a narcissistic boss (Connie Britton) and an uncertain future, while attempting to exorcise old ghosts and atone for past misdeeds. The cast also includes Rosie O'Donnell, Miguel Gomez, Samara Weaving, Raven Goodwin and and Sherie Rene Scott.
