The 27th season of the animated comedy series "South Park" has premiered on July 23, 2025 on Comedy Central. In the premiere episode "Sermon on the Mount", the resident of South Park face a terrible catastrophe and Jesus returns with an important message.
After months of negotiations, the show's creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone secured a five-year, $300 million annual deal with Paramount Global, which will bring all future seasons to Paramount+ starting with Season 27, as well as the full back catalog of episodes. "South Park" will still permiere new episodes on Comedy Central (owned by Paramount) before becoming available for streaming on Paramount+.
