The second season of the drama series "Sweetbitter" has premiered on July 14, 2019 on Starz. Created by Stephanie Danler and executive produced by Brad Pitt, the show is based on Danler's novel of the same name and it follows Tess (Ella Purnell), a 22-year-old who arrives in New York City ready to pursue a new life in the crazy world of restaurants. The cast also includes Tom Sturridge, Caitlin FitzGerald, Evan Jonigkeit, Eden Epstein and Paul Sparks.
