THE VILLAINESS IS ADORED BY THE CROWN PRINCE OF THE NEIGHBORING KINGDOM Anime Series Trailer, Clip, Images and Posters

"The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom" is a new anime sereis based on the Japanese light novel series written by Puni-chan and illustrated by Akeno Naruse, which began publication on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2026. Enterbrain publishes a print version in Japan under their B's Log Bunko imprint, with 14 volumes published to date. A visual novel adaptation developed and published by Operahouse was released for Nintendo Switch and Steam in March 2024.

The anime is directed by Takayuki Hamana ("The Prince of Tennis") at Studio DEEN. Yoshimi Narita ("Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie") is writing the series composition with Majiro ("Barakamon") on character designs.

The returning voice cast from the visual novel game includes: Mai Fuchigami, Yuichiro Umehara, Takuya Sato and Yumiri Hanamori. The opening theme song "Ai no Fanfare" ("Love's Fanfare") and the ending theme song "Mahō no Oto" ("The Magical Sound") are both performed by Ayahi Takagaki and Yu Shirota.

"The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom" premiered on January 11, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll.

CAT'S EYE / KYATTSU AI Anime Series Trailer, Images and Posters

"Cat's Eye" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsukasa Hojo, which was serialized by Shueisha between September 1981 – January 1985 in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine, and was also published as 18 collected volumes. Coamix releases an English language version of the manga. The manga was previously adapted into a 1983-1985 anime series, two live-action films in 1988 and 1997, and French TV live-action series in 2024.

Yoshifumi Sueda directs the TV anime at animation studio LIDEN FILMS. Series composition is handled by Hayashi Mori, while Yosuke Yabumoto provides the character designs and serves as chief animation director and Yuki Hayashi composed the music.

The anime series features two theme songs performed by Ado: the ending theme "CAT'S EYE" (a cover of the opening theme for the first TV anime series in 1983-1984 originally performed by Anri), and the new opening theme "Magic".

The voice cast features Mikako Komatsu, Ami Koshimizu, Yumiri Hanamori, Takuya Sato, Kenji Utsumi, Yoko Hikasa and Katsuyuki Konishi.

"Cat's Eye" premiered on September 26, 2025 on Hulu and Disney+.
