Weekend Box-Office: DOWNTON ABBEY Sequel Opens Strong But DOCTOR STRANGE Threepeats at No. 1

The historical drama "Downton Abbey: A New Era", the follow-up to the 2019 film and the hit TV series "Downton Abbey", scored a decent debut, but couldn't take down the "Doctor Strange" sequel, which is dominating the box-office for a third consecutive weekend. Alex Garland's horror film "Men" failed to find an audience.

Weekend Box-Office: BAD GUYS Leads Quiet Weekend With $16 Million

The animated film "The Bad Guys" secured the top spot in its sophomore weekend as no major new releases opened in theaters. Well, unless you consider Liam Neeson's new film "Memory" a major release, but that's debatable. Overall, it's been an uneventful weekend at the box-office, with most of the major players holding on to the same positions as last week.
