The third season of the mystery drama series "The Chelsea Detective" started with a Christmas special on December 16, 2024, and will make its Acorn TV return on April 7, 2025 with its second episode. Episodes three and four will follow weekly on Mondays.
Created by Peter Fincham, the show stars Adrian Scarborough, Vanessa Emme, Sophie Stone, Lucy Phelps, Peter Bankolé, Anamaria Marinca and Frances Barber. Alex Kingston ("Doctor Who") guest stars as US Ambassador Emily Morgan.
Fincham was the lead writer this season alongside Glen Laker ("Vera"), Debbie Oates & Ian Kershaw ("Medici"), and Nicola Wilson ("Good Karma Hospital"). The episodes are directed by Jennie Darnell ("Trigger Point") and Richard Signy ("Death in Paradise").
