The sci-fi series "The Expanse" returns for a third season Wednesday, April 11, 2018 on Syfy at 9/8c. The show's story picks up immediately following the emotional and suspenseful second season finale and it finds Earth, Mars and The Belt at war, with each competing entity vying for control.

Based on the New York Times bestselling book series of the same name written by Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck, the series stars Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham and Frankie Adams. Recurring guest stars will include Elizabeth Mitchell and David Strathairn.
