in-theaters-minions-selfless-the-gallows-boulevard

This weekend in theaters we have a new animated feature that should have no problem in taking over the box-office. The "Despicable Me" spinoff "Minions" may not have impressed critics much, but it has the best chance to top the charts, especially since its only competition consists of Tarsem Singh's sci-fi thriller "Self/Less" (a genre that doesn't bring in a lot of money these days, unless it's Marvel) and the Blumhouse horror flick "The Gallows". The latter will no doubt recover its micro-budget, but doesn't look like it's going to break any records. One of the more notable limited releases this week is the drama "Boulevard" featuring one of Robin Williams' final performances, and according to the critics it's a really good one, too. The Gallows Movie Trailer, Clips and Poster

From Jason Blum, producer of "Paranormal Activity", "The Purge" and "Insidious", comes a new low-budget horror film called "The Gallows", which opens today in theaters, so here are the official trailer, poster and nine clips from the movie. The story is set 20 years after a horrific school play accident shocked a small town and it follows a group of students who attempt to resurrect the failed show in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy. And, of course, bad stuff happens.

Written and directed by newcomers Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing, the film stars Reese Mishler, Pfeifer Brown, Ryan Shoos, Cassidy Gifford, Price T. Morgan and Theo Burkhardt.
