The third season of the medical drama series "The Good Doctor" has premiered on September 23, 2019 on ABC. Created by David Shore ("House"), the series is based on the 2013 award-winning South Korean series of the same name, and it stars Freddie Highmore as Shaun Murphy, a young autistic savant surgical resident at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. The cast also includes Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper and Richard Schiff.
