The third season of the dystopian drama series "THe Handmaid's Tale" has premiered on June 5, 2019 via Hulu. Created by Bruce Miller based on Margaret Atwood's best-selling novel, the show is set in a future where humanity is faced with environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, and a twisted fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship forces fertile women to live as sexual slaves, as a last desperate attempt to repopulate the world.
The cast features Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella and Samira Wiley.
