THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD Trailer and Gameplay Video

Nintendo has released a new trailer for their upcoming Wii U game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", as well as a gameplay video that features Bill Trinen and Nate Bihldorff from the Nintendo Treehouse playing through a new shrine quest in the riverside area of the game.

This new installment in the Zelda franchise is said to be a "boundary-breaking" game which allows players to explore and travel an open-world environment that also allows climbing towers and mountain peaks. The game will also feature plenty of fighting against enemies of various sizes, but also hunting and gathering of ingredients for food and elixirs. The vast landscape also houses more than 100 Shrines of Trials that offer special items and other rewards, if you can solve their puzzles and avoid their traps.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be released in 2017.
