The second and final season of the western drama series "The Son" is scheduled to premiere on April 27, 2019 on AMC at 9p. Created by Brian McGreevy, Philipp Meyer and Lee Shipman, the series is a multi-generational epic telling of the story of America's birth as a superpower through the bloody rise and fall of one Texas oil empire. The cast features Pierce Brosnan, Henry Garrett, Jacob Lofland, Zahn McClarnon, Jess Weixler, Paola Nunez, Sydney Lucas and Elizabeth Frances.
