Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike to Star in Netflix's Romantic Comedy LADIES FIRST

Oscar nominees Sacha Baron Cohen ("Borat") and Rosamund Pike ("Gone Girl") have signed on to star in the rom-com "Ladies First" directed by Thea Sharrock ("Me Before You", "Wicked Little Letters") from a script by Katie Silberman ("Booksmart"), Natalie Krinsky ("The Broken Hearts Gallery") and Cinco Paul ("Despicable Me") based on the 2018 French film "Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile" (I Am Not an Easy Man), which also premiered on Netflix.

The plot follows a womanizer (Baron Cohen) who gets a shock when he is suddenly living in a world dominated by women, with an opinionated female counterpart (Pike) adding to the complications. A release date has not yet been announced.

Producers include Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, along with Eleonore Dailly, Edouard de Lachomette and Four By Two Films.

Baron Cohen can now be seen alongside Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline in the Alfonso Cuarón-directed Apple TV+ series "Disclaimer". Pike is also set to star in the sequel "Now You See Me 3".

"The Beautiful Game" is a British sports drama directed by Thea Sharrock ("Me Before You") from a script by Frank Cottrell-Boyce ("Hilary and Jackie", "Goodbye Christopher Robin "). The cast includes Bill Nighy, Micheal Ward, Valeria Golino, Susan Wokoma, Callum Scott Howells and Kit Young. The movie premiered on March 29, 2024 on Netflix.

THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN (2020) - Trailer, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"The One and Only Ivan" is a fantasy adventure film directed by Thea Sharrock ("Me Before You") from a script by Mike White ("School of Rock") based on the children's novel of the same name by K.A. Applegate.

The film tells the story of a gorilla named Ivan (voiced by Sam Rockwell), who tries to piece together his past with the help of an elephant named Stella (Angelina Jolie) as they hatch a plan to escape from captivity. The cast also features Bryan Cranston, Ramon Rodriguez, Ariana Greenblatt, Indira Varma and Eleanor Matsuura, and the voices of Danny DeVito, Helen Mirren, Brooklynn Prince and Phillipa Soo.

"The One and Only Ivan" was originally intended to be released theatrically, but due to the coronavirus pandemic it will be released digitally on Disney+ on August 21, 2020.
