Product Description: This haunting sci-fi love story is as inventive as it is intimate. When Max’s girlfriend suffers a devastating injury, the only hope for recovery lies in a futuristic memory-mapping machine operated by Max’s estranged mother. With time slipping away, Max plunges into the surreal architecture of her girlfriend’s mind, navigating a maze of traumas and secrets in search of one essential memory that might hold everything together. Shot almost entirely in black and white, Psychonaut is a lo-fi visual knockout that blends heady science fiction with raw emotional urgency. The film’s mindscape is both dreamlike and dangerous, with each memory carrying the thrill of discovery and the threat of collapse. This is a story about what we hold onto, what we bury, and how far we’ll go for someone we love.
