"To the Bone" is a drama written and directed by "I Am Number Four" and "Fright Night" writer Marti Noxon based on her own battle with anorexia. The film stars Lily Collins as a 20 year old college dropout who is struggling with the eating disorder. She enters a group home run by an unconventional doctor (Keanu Reeves), who challenges her to face her condition and embrace life. Leslie Bibb, Kathryn Prescott, Liana Liberato, Carrie Preston, Lili Taylor and Alex Sharp also star.
"To the Bone" premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. The film was released worldwide via Netflix and in select theaters on July 14th, 2017. It received mostly positive reviews from critics, with most of the praise aimed at Collins' stunning performance.
