"Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Yokusaru Shibata, which in turn is based on original characters created by Ishimori Productions and Toei. Hero's Inc. currently publishes the manga in their Comiplex digital manga magazine.
The anime is directed by Takehiro Ikezoe at studio LIDEN FILMS, with series composition by Toko Machida, character designs by Cindy H. Yamauchi and music by TeddyLoid. The opening song is "Wanna Be" performed by TeddyLoid feat. Shigeru Matsuzaki accelerated by TOPHAMHAT-KYO (FAKE TYPE.). The ending theme song "One More Time" is performed by Ryoji Tokita, and features composition and arrangement by TeddyLoid and lyrics by TeddyLoid and Konnie Aoki.
The voice cast includes Katsuyuki Konishi, Ai Kayano, Kenichi Suzumura, Soma Saito, Fairouz Ai, Satoshi Tsuruoka, Fukushi Ochiai, Daisuke Sakaguchi and Kenjiro Tsuda. The series premiered on October 5, 2025 and is also streaming on Crunchyroll.
