"Merry Happy Whatever" is a new holiday comedy anthology created by Tucker Cawley ("Everybody Loves Raymond"). The first eight-episode season takes place over the week or so around Christmas and it stars Dennis Quaid as a strong-willed patriarch who must balance the demands of his complicated family with the stress of the Christmas season when his youngest daughter comes home for the holidays with a new boyfriend. Future season of the show will be based on different holidays. The cast also includes Bridgit Mendler, Ashley Tisdale, Brent Morin, Adam Rose and Siobahn Murphy.
