"Dragon Striker" is a new sports fantasy anime series created by Sylvain Dos Santos and Charles Lefebvre. Set in a world where sports and magic combine, it follows farm boy Key who discovers his ultrapowerful natural talent and learns he could be the legendary Dragon Striker. He joins a scrappy new team at an elite school for students who possess extraordinary abilities, to challenge the school champions while fighting to prevent an ancient evil from resurfacing.
The voice cast includes Akshay Kumar (Key), Rebecca LaChance (Ssyelle), Yeukayi Ushe (Milo), Waylon Jacobs (Odward) and Evanna Lynch (Ameline). The show's score is composed by Kevin Penkin ("Made in Abyss", "Star Wars: Visions"). The theme song "Power of the Dragon" was written and produced by Cash Callaway and is performed by Sarah West. The end credits song "The Very End" was written and performed by Kieran Rhodes.
All 11 episodes of "Dragon Striker" premiered on Disney XD on June 9, 2026 and stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. A series of shorts titled "Dragon Striker: Meet The Players" will debut on May 13th on Disney Channel Animation Youtube and Disney+.
