Box-Office: STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON Wins Third Consecutive Weekend

Despite a close call with new wide release "War Room", it was ultimately "Straight Outta Compton" who came out on top, for a third consecutive week, no less. Overall, though, the box-office was pretty weak.

In Theaters: NO ESCAPE, WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS, WAR ROOM, Z FOR ZACHARIAH

This week in theaters we have two new wide releases, the Owen Wilson action thriller "No Escape" and the DJ drama "We Are Your Friends" starring Zac Efron. Neither film was a hit with the critics. In limited release there is the faith-based drama "War Room" and the post-apocalyptic drama "Z for Zachariah" starring Margot Robbie, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine. WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS - 6 Clips, 18 Pictures, 13 Posters

The electronic music drama "We Are Your Friends" opens today in theaters, so here are six new clips, eighteen images and thirteen new posters for the movie. The film's critical reception has been mixed to negative. Critics have generally complained about the cliched story that wastes the talent of its cast, although, fans of the music might find some things to like about it. The cast features Zac Efron, Wes Bentley, Emily Ratajkowski, Jonny Weston, Shiloh Fernandez, and Jon Bernthal.

WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS Trailer and Posters

Today we have the official trailer and three posters for the DJ drama "We Are Your Friends". I suppose in the rise-to-fame genre landscape, the EDM world hasn't really gotten that much attention. That's all going to be fixed by this movie. Zac Efron stars as an aspiring DJ who struggles to make it in the electronic music scene. Co-written and directed by Max Joseph, the film also stars Wes Bentley, Emily Ratajkowski, Jonny Weston, Shiloh Fernandez, and Jon Bernthal.

"We Are Your Friends" opens in theaters on August 28th.
