The fifth and final season of the zombie dramedy series "iZombie" has premiered on May 2, 2019 on The CW. Created by Diane Ruggiero and Rob Thomas based on the DC Comics series of the same name, the show follows Seattle medical resident Olivia "Liv" Moore (Rose McIver), who becomes a zombie and learns that her new brain-based diet enables her to experience a victim's memories that can be used to help solve the person's murder. In the new season, Liv and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) continue to solve murders, while Peyton (Aly Michalka) as acting mayor causes conflicts with Major (Rahul Kohli) and Fillmore Graves.
