"The Shards" is a psychological teen thriller series created by Ryan Murphy and author Bret Easton Ellis ("American Psycho") based on the latter's 2023 semi-autobiographical novel. The show stars Igby Rigney, Kaia Gerber, Homer Gere, Hayes Warner, Graham Campbell, Evan Rachel Wood, and Wes Bentley. It premiered on August 5, 2026 on FX and FX on Hulu/Disney+.
