Smoking Behind The Supermarket With You Anime Series Trailers Clips Images Posters

"Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Jinushi, which was first posted as a webcomic on X (formerly Twitter) in March 2022, before the series was serialized in Monthly Big Gangan magazine from August 2022 and won the 2022 Next Manga Award in the web category.

The anime is directed by Masato Suzuki and Aoi Mori at studio Asahi Production, with series composition Mio Inoue ("My Awkward Senpai"), character designs by Tomoka Otaki ("A Galaxy Next Door") and music by Shin Kono and Sayaka Aoki.

The opening theme song is "Ichijiku Kemuri" ("Fig Smoke") performed by Zutomayo, while the ending theme song is "Fiction" performed by Imase. The voice cast includes Takuya Satō, Seena Hoshiki, Toa Yukinari, Yoko Hikasa, Megumi Toyoguchi, Rikuya Yasuda and Shinya Takahashi.

The English dub cast features Giles Panton, Caitlyn Bairstow, Andrew Francis, Ruth Alexander and Brian Dobson.

"Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You" premiered on July 9, 2026 and streams Crunchyroll.
