"The Secret Agent" ("O Agente Secreto") is a neo-noir period political thriller written and directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho ("Bacurau"). The film stars Wagner Moura, Carlos Francisco, Tânia Maria, Robério Diógenes, Maria Fernanda Cândido, Udo Kier and Gabriel Leone.

It premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival where it won Best Actor (Moura), Director, the Art House Cinema Award and the FIPRESCI Prize for Best Film. The film is also nominated for four Academy Awards (Best Picture, Actor, Casting and International Feature Film).

"The Secret Agent" was released in select theaters on November 26, 2026 and via streaming on February 3, 2026.
