New Trailers: BACKROOMS, FACES OF DEATH, IN A VIOLENT NATURE 2, THE CHRISTOPHERS, KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE & THE SERPENT'S SKIN

Backrooms Horror Movie Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The sci-fi horror film "Backrooms" directed by 20-year-old filmmaker Kane Parsons based on the creepypasta of the same name that inspired the web series of the same name by Parsons. The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell and Avan Jogia.
  • The horror remake "Faces of Death" co-written and directed by Daniel Goldhaber ("How to Blow Up a Pipeline") based on the infamous 1978 film of the same name. The film stars Barbie Ferreira, Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, Aaron Holliday, Jermaine Fowler and Charli XCX.
  • The indie Canadian slasher horrror sequel "In a Violent Nature 2" directed by Nathaniel Wilson and written by Chris Nash. Ry Barrett reprises his role as undead serial killer Johnny. The cast also includes Lucas Nguyen, Olivia Scriven, Laurie Babin, Fionn Laird, Donald MacLean Jr. and Evan Marsh.
  • The dramedy "The Christophers" directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Ian McKellen and Michaela Coel.
  • The 4K remaster re-release of Hayao Miyazaki's classic Studio Ghibli anime "Kiki's Delivery Service"
  • The supernatural horror film "The Serpent's Skin" written and directed by Australian horror filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay.

His two estranged children (James Corden, Jessica Gunning), desperate for an inheritance, hire Lori, an art restorer and former forger (Michaela Coel), to pose as a prospective assistant in order to access 8 unfinished canvases Julian has buried deep in storage. Her plan is to complete them, then return them to storage, where they are to be “discovered” upon Julian’s death."




Kiki's Delivery Service Re-Release (March 13, 2026 - IMAX theaters)

"First released in 1989, KIKI’S DELIVERY SERVICE is one of Director Hayao Miyazaki’s most adored features from Studio Ghibli. The hand-drawn, animated feature, based on the novel by Eiko Kadono, is produced, written, and directed by Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki, and features a musical score from Miyazaki’s long-time collaborator, the renowned composer Joe Hisaishi. The new 4K remaster highlights the great thought and care put into every frame of the film, celebrating the authentic craftsmanship of Studio Ghibli’s detailed artwork.

The new poster, also revealed today, reflects the studio’s commitment to the animated form at the highest level, highlighting an original piece of concept art from celebrated studio veteran and director of the beloved Studio Ghibli feature Whisper of the Heart, Yoshifumi Kondo.

In December, GKIDS and IMAX announced their continued partnership to exclusively debut Studio Ghibli 4K remasters in its theatres following the highly successful 4K remaster of Princess Mononoke earlier in 2025, which became the second-highest-grossing vault release ever for IMAX. Studio Ghibli’s own Atsushi Okui, who has been involved in nearly every major Studio Ghibli project since Porco Rosso in 1992, continues to oversee the entire process of remastering these beloved Studio Ghibli classics in 4K for the first time. Okui’s most recent credit with the studio was as Director of Digital Imaging on Miyazaki’s Academy Award-winning The Boy and the Heron, which was also the first Studio Ghibli film to screen in IMAX format."




The Serpent's Skin (April 21, 2026 - VOD/Digital)

Synopsis:

"A supernatural romance that follows Anna after she escapes from her small, transphobic town, and the romantic relationship she develops with another young woman, a goth tattoo artist named Gen. After unwittingly unleashing a demon that begins feeding on their friends, the pair need to face their insecurities in order to defeat evil."
