"Scarlet" ("Hateshinaki Sukāretto") is an anime fantasy film written and directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda ("Mirai", "Summer Wars", "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time") inspired by the Shakespearean tragedy Hamlet. The film is animated by Studio Chizu, and features the voices of Mana Ashida, Masaki Okada, Koji Yakusho, Kotaro Yoshida, Yutaka Matsushige and Kazuhiro Yamaji.

The English dub features Erin Yvette, Chris Hackney, David Kaye, Jamieson K. Price, Fred Tatasciore and Jason Marnocha. The film premiered at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival, and was released in theaters in Japan on November 21, 2025. In the US it was released in select theaters on February 6, 2026 and via streaming on March 17, 2026.
