"The Drops of God" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series of the same name written by Tadashi Agi, a pseudonym for sister and brother Yuko and Shin Kibayashi, and illustrated by Shu Okimoto. The manga was also adapted into two live-ation TV shows.

The anime is directed by Kenji Itoso ("AQUARION Myth of Emotions") at studio Satelight, with series composition by Yu Mitsuru, character designs by Sodai Suwa ("Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers") and music by Eishi Segawa ("YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master").

The opening theme song is "hate you? love you?" performed by Hokuto Yoshino, while the ending theme song is ""Kami no Shizuku" performed by Maaya Uchida.

The voice cast includes Kazuya Kamenashi, Maaya Uchida, Banjō Ginga, Takuya Satō, and Yūko Kaida. The English dub features Christopher Guerrero, Taylor Shaye, Reagan Murdock, Mike Smith, Christopher Caz and Maganda Marie.

"The Drops of God" premiered on April 10, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.

"When world-renowned wine critic Toyotaka Kanzaki passes away, he leaves behind an enviable collection. The will promises his estate to whoever correctly guesses the brand and year of the 12 greatest wines he selected, and the legendary wine that stands atop them all, "Drops of God." The challengers are Toyotaka's son, Shizuku Kanzaki, and a young critic, Issei Tomine, who was adopted by Toyotaka."
