"Paying for It" is a drama directed by Sook-Yin Lee from a script she co-wrote alongside Joanne Sarazen based on the graphic novel memoir by Canadian cartoonist Chester Brown, which focuses on his decision to start frequenting sex workers after the breakup of his real-life relationship with Lee. The film stars Dan Beirne, Emily Le, Andrea Wehun, Kaitlyn Chalmers-Rizzato, Stephen Kalyn, Chris Sandiford and Kris Siddiqi. It was released in select theaters on January 30, 2026 and via streaming on May 1, 2026.
