I Made Friends With The Second Prettiest Girl In My Class 2026 Anime Series Trailers Clips Images Posters

"I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class" is a new anime series based on the Japanese romantic comedy light novel series written by Takata and illustrated by Tom Osabe (first volume) and Azuri Hyuga (from second volume).

The anime is directed by Hideki Tachibana ("The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio") at studio CONNECT, with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi ("Girlfriend, Girlfriend") and character designs by Shoko Takimoto ("Slow Loop"). Takumi Shibata ("Jingai-san no Yome") serves as assistant director. The music is composed by Ruka Kawada, Yayoi Sekimukai and Shuhei Mutsuki.

The opening theme song is "Submarine Youth" performed by RegretGirl, while the ending song is "Zutto Ichiban ni Shitene" performed by Koresawa. The voice cast includes Haruki Ishiya, Manaka Iwami, Sayumi Suzushiro and Ikumi Hasegawa.

"I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class" premiered on April 7, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.
