"Living the Land" ("Shengxi zhidì") is a Chinese drama written and directed by Huo Meng ("Crossing the Border - Zhaoguan"). The film stars Wang Shang, Zhang Chuwen, Zhang Yanrong, Zhang Caixia, and Cao Lingzhi. It premiered at the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear for Best Director. The film is still not released in China, but in the US it was released in select theaters on April 3, 2026, and on July 3rd it was released on digital platforms.
