The Ogres Bride Anime Series Trailers Clips Images Posters

"The Ogre's Bride" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series written by Kureha and illustrated by Yu Shiroya that began serialization as a web novel on the Novema website in 2019 and was later acquired and published by Starts Publishing under their Starts Shuppan Bunko imprint in October 2020. A live-action film adaptation premiered in Japanese theaters on March 27, 2026.

The anime is directed by Kazuhito Omiya at Colored Pencil Animation Japan, with series composition by Yumi Kamakura, character designs by Hikari Tanaka and Hiroko Shigekuni, and music by Masaru Yokoyama.

The opening theme song is "Hitokoto" ("A Word") performed by ClariS, and the ending theme song is "Shinboshi" performed by Ikusaburo Yamazaki. The voice cast includes Saori Hayami, Yūichirō Umehara, Miyu Kobashi, Manaka Iwami, Ryōta Ōsaka, Sayaka Senbongi and Natsuki Hanae.

"The Ogre's Bride" premiered on July 4, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll.
