Zero Ad The Birth Of Christ Movie Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The Biblical epic "Zero A.D.: The Birth of Christ" directed by Alejandro Gómez Monteverde ("Sound of Freedom", "Cabrini"). The cast includes Deva Cassel, Sam Worthington, Ben Mendelsohn, Gael García Bernal, and Jim Caviezel.
  • The French-Japanese-German-Belgian drama "All of a Sudden" ("Soudain") co-written and directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi in his French-language debut. Loosely based on the non-fiction book "You and I – The Illness Suddenly Get Worse" by Makiko Miyano and Maho Isono, the film stars Virginie Efira, Tao Okamoto and Kyōzō Nagatsuka.
  • Pedro Almodóvar's new film "Bitter Christmas" starring Bárbara Lennie, Leonardo Sbaragliam Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Victoria Luengo, Patrick Criado, Milena Smit, and Quim Gutiérrez.
  • The Shudder horror film "Infirmary" starring Paul Syre Lee and Mark Anthony Williams.
  • The British drama "Animol" starring Tut Nyuot ("The Long Walk") and Stephen Graham ("Adolescence").
  • The British dramedy "Onwards and Sideways" directed by John Madden ("Shakespeare in Love", "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel") and starring Rhys Ifans and Laura Linney.

Bitter Christmas (November 13, 2026 - US limited release; November 25 - nationwide)

Synopsis:

"Bitter Christmas tells two alternating stories, one starring Elsa, an advertising director, in 2004, during a long weekend in December. The second takes place in 2026 and stars Raúl, a screenwriter and director who is writing a script that we soon discover is the story of Elsa, her boyfriend Bonifacio, and her friends Patricia and Natalia. Mixed with fiction, Elsa is, in a way, Raúl's alter ego, who, like him, resorts to autofiction as a solution to a long period of creative drought. He looks inside himself, and he can't help but also look at the people who make up his most intimate universe: his partner and his assistant."

Synopsis:

"Behind the walls of a juvenile detention centre, Troy (Tut Nyuot) is thrust into a brutal world of gangs, loyalty, and violence. From the moment he arrives, he is tested. Paired with a volatile cellmate, Troy is forced to deal with daily threats and power struggles. An unspoken bond with a fellow inmate offers solace in the oppressive environment, but their growing connection becomes a dangerous vulnerability.

The film introduces rising talents, Tut Nyuot (The Long Walk, Steve) and Vladyslav Baliuk as two teenagers embroiled in the prison’s harsh environment. Stephen Graham (Help, Boiling Point, Adolescence) joins the supporting cast as a Welfare Officer tasked with supporting the young offenders during their incarceration and Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune: Part One, Enola Holmes 2) rounds off the casting as Troy's mother.

Written by Nick Love (The Football Factory, A Town Called Malice), Animol is produced by Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor (Blue Story, Boxing Day) and Tom Hawkins (True History of the Kelly Gang). The film was developed by Film4 in collaboration with Sky and the BFI."




Onwards and Sideways (November 6, 2026 - UK theaters)

"A powerful, life-affirming British drama from Academy Award-nominated Director John Madden (Shakespeare in Love, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel). BAFTA Award-winner Rhys Ifans (Inheritance, House of the Dragon) and Academy Award-nominee Laura Linney (Ozark, Love Actually) star alongside Monica Dolan and Rory Kinnear, in an emotional and surprisingly funny story of two people with lots in common - a great sense of humour, a love of adventure, and… an unexpected diagnosis of Parkinson’s."
