New on DVD and Blu-ray: June 6, 2017

The new DVD and Blu-ray releases for the week of June 6, 2017 include Disney's live-action remake "Beauty and the Beast", Gore Verbinski's chilling horror film "A Cure for Wellness", the biopic "A United Kingdom", the fantasy actioner "Enter the Warriors Gate" written by Luc Besson, the supernatural thriller "Voice From the Stone" starring Emilia Clarke, the dramedy "The Last Word" starring Shirley MacLaine and Amanda Seyfried, the drama "The Ticket" starring Dan Stevens and "Aftermath" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The new home video releases also include the first part of "Doctor Who" Series 10, and the first season of the Syfy show "Van Helsing".

The oldies but goldies released on Blu-ray this week include the 25th Anniversary editions of "Juice" and "Akira", the 50th Anniversary edition of "Fahrenheit 451", "Ugetsu" Criterion Collection release, "Bambi" Signature Collection, the Collector's Edition of "Where the Buffalo Roam" and Ridley Scott's "1492: Conquest of Paradise".

Weekend Box-Office: LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Tops Presidents' Day Weekend

For a second consecutive weekend, "The LEGO Batman Movie" has topped the charts, as newcomers "The Great Wall", "Fist Fight" and "A Cure for Wellness" scored modest results.

New A CURE FOR WELLNESS Clips, Images and Posters

20th Century Fox has released a new batch of clips, images and posters for the mystery thriller "A Cure for Wellness".

Directed by Gore Verbinski ("The Ring", "Pirates of the Caribbean"), the film stars Dane DeHaan as a young and ambitious executive who is sent to a mysterious spa in the Swiss Alps to retrieve his company's CEO. Following a terrible car crash, he finds himself diagnosed with the same unknown illness that all of the spa's guests seem to suffer from.

The film also stars Jason Isaacs, Mia Goth, Celia Imrie, Ivo Nandi and Harry Groener.

"A Cure for Wellness" opened in theaters on February 17th to mixed reviews and is currently heading for a pretty weak opening weekend after grossing only $1.5 million on Friday.

This week in theaters we have "The Great Wall", the epic fantasy blockbuster shot entirely in China starring Matt Damon, the creepy R-rated mystery thriller "A Cure for Wellness" from "Pirates of the Caribbean" director Gore Verbinski, and the comedy "Fist Fight" starring Ice Cube and Charlie Day. New A CURE FOR WELLNESS Trailer and Poster

20th Century Fox has released a new trailer and poster for Gore Verbinski's upcoming psychological thriller "A Cure For Wellness". Dane DeHaan stars as an ambitious young executive who is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic but mysterious wellness center at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. But, when he arrives there he finds himself diagnosed with the same mysterious illness as the rest of the center's residents, and in need of a special cure.

The cast also includes Jason Isaacs, Mia Goth, Carl Lumbly, Celia Imrie and Susanne Wuest.

"A Cure For Wellness" opens in theaters on February 17, 2017.
